Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket to the 2024 ValhallaFest Music Festival, you're agreeing to the following terms and conditions set forth by ValhallaFest and Pederson Gruppen Enterprises Inc. (PGE), collectively referred to as 'ValhallaFest' in this document.

Location & Dates

The festival will take place at the Valhalla Festival Grounds, located 10km west of Terrace, British Columbia at 13667 Hwy 16 West, Terrace, BC V8G 0C9. Detailed directions and a map can be found on our Getting Here page. Please familiarize yourself with these before arriving.

Entry Requirements

• Waiver: All attendees, including staff and volunteers, must sign a waiver before entering the festival grounds. The current waiver can be found on our website.
• Age Verification: Attendees under 19 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry.
• Ticket Policy: All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be provided, regardless of event cancellation or early termination due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Admission Time: The festival runs from 12:00 PM on Friday, June 28, 2024, until 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Early arrivals will not be permitted entry before the start time.

Online Ticketing via Tickit

Upon purchase, Tickit will send a confirmation email with a private download page link for your order, along with a transaction receipt including the Order ID#. Through the private download page, you can review your order, transfer tickets, or sell them securely.

Data Privacy Notice

• Information Collection: We collect personal and non-personal data during registration and ticket purchases, including names, contact details, and browsing data.
• Use of Data: Data is used for event organization, communication, analysis, and marketing purposes with user consent.
• Sharing: Data may be shared with event organizers and third-party service providers under strict conditions.
• Security & Rights: We implement security measures to protect your data, acknowledging users' rights to access, correct, or delete their personal information.

Event Guidelines

• Photography & Filming: By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed for festival promotion without compensation. Professional media requires official accreditation.
• Parking & Transportation: Designated parking areas require a valid pass. Parking on the shoulder of Highway #16 is strictly prohibited. No driving is permitted on-site between 11:30 PM and 7:00 AM. Attendees must follow all traffic signs and directions for entry and exit.
• Camping: Included with general admission, camping is only allowed in specified areas on the Valhalla Festival Grounds. Attendees must camp within these designated areas to maintain the festival's safety and organization. ValhallaFest reserves the right to relocate or remove attendees not complying with designated camping areas.
• Security: Attendees must consent to searches for safety compliance.
• Alcohol & Substances: Alcohol consumption is restricted to campsites, and it must be contained in a cup. Open alcohol outside of these areas is not permitted. The possession of illegal substances is strictly prohibited and will involve law enforcement.
• Conduct: All attendees must adhere to our code of conduct, available on our website.

Security Checks

For the safety of all festival-goers, attendees must consent to reasonable searches of their vehicles and personal effects upon entry. This is to ensure compliance with all provincial and federal laws, as well as festival rules and regulations. Attendees should review the list of banned items available on our website prior to arrival.

Release of Liability

A signed waiver is mandatory for entry, with guardians signing for minors. Attendees voluntarily assume all risks associated with event participation and waive any claims against ValhallaFest for any injuries or damages incurred during the festival.

Updates to the Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify this Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the terms on our website. We encourage you to review this page periodically, or subscribe to our newsletter for updates on ValhallaFest.

Legal Provisions

This document constitutes the full agreement between ValhallaFest and attendees, governed by British Columbia law. If any provision is deemed unenforceable, it does not affect the validity of the remaining terms.
